Spring 1898 - Sir Sultan Mohamed Shah, Aga Khan III's horse Jeddah, won the Epsom Derby (100 to 1 odds) - the first win for the colours of the Aga Khan.
He also met King Edward at this race who conferred Sir Sultan Mohamed Shah, Aga Khan III with membership of the exclusive Marlborough Club.
