GOVT COMMITTED TO UPLIFT REMOTE AREAS - 2003-05-04
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali on Saturday said his government was committed to the development of health, education, female literacy and employment in country's remotest areas. Talking to Prince Karim Aga Khan, who called on him at the Prime Minister House, Jamali appreciated the useful contributions made by the Ismaili community for the socio-economic development of the country. The prime minister particularly noted Aga Khan's contribution towards health and education sectors and expressed the hope that it would hasten country's transition towards economic prosperity. Jamali said his government is according high priority to the development of backward and remote areas of the country. He thanked Prince Karim Aga Khan for evincing keen interest in country's overall development and improving the quality of life of its people.
