Addressing a group of Canadian parliamentarians, government representatives, academics and representatives of the business and diplomatic community, Mr. Kassim-Lakha said that Canada's support for Aga Khan University, a member of the Aga Khan Development Network, is 'beginning to have a strategic impact in several countries of Asia and Africa' by fostering the professional expertise, leadership skills and values necessary to drive forward national - and even global - strategies in the critical social sectors of education and health care.
