The Diamond Jubilee celebrations at Dar-es-Salaam followed in August, 1946. To it thousands of people came from all parts of the world, especially lndia, Europe and the Middle East.

Your Highness, Kenya and Aga Khan Development Network share a long history of co-operation. The Aga Khan Development Network has for a long time supported our development efforts by promoting socio-economic development in various fields such as health, education and rural development.

A fifth unit in the Serena hotels chain will be opened in Zanzibar this Saturday by His Highness The Aga Khan who is expected to arrived in Dar es Salaam at the weekend, according to confirmed sources.
