On December 13, Ismaili Muslims all over the world celebrate the birthday of His Highness the Aga Khan.

Born : 2nd November, 1877 in Karachi : British India now Pakistan
Died :11th July, 1957 : (Burried in Aswan, Egypt)

On the first day of an official visit to the Kyrgyz Republic, His Highness the Aga Khan was presented the Order of Danaker by His Excellency Almazbek Atambayev, President of the Kyrgyz Republic.

History of the Aga Khan Trophy
•The trophy has been won 5 times. By the Swiss in 1930, Ireland in 1937 and 1979, Britain in 1953 and 1975.
•Since its inception, nearly 50% of the horses that took part on victorious Aga Khan teams were Irish bred.

The Aga Khan homebred Harzand moved to the lead in mid-stretch of the Investec Epsom Derby (Eng-I) and fought off a challenge from Us Army Ranger to win the 1 1/2-mile classic June 4 at Epsom Downs.
